Tour Plan

1. Pickup from the Hotel and Transfer: The tour begins with a pickup from your hotel by your guide, who will provide a brief overview of the day’s itinerary. You will then be transported to the starting point of the tour.

2. Old City (Icheri Sheher): Visit the Old City, surrounded by ancient fortress walls, which is the historical center of Baku.
Maiden Tower: One of the main symbols of Baku, this structure is shrouded in many legends. The top of the tower offers a panoramic view of the city and the Caspian Sea.
Palace of the Shirvanshahs: An architectural complex that includes the residence of the rulers of Shirvan, an ancient mosque, and a mausoleum.

3. Walking Tour of Icheri Sheher: A stroll through the narrow streets of the Old City allows you to see traditional Azerbaijani houses, ancient mosques, and artisan shops.

4. Chain House (Museum of Archaeology and Ethnography): Visit the architectural monument known as the “Chain House,” which houses the Museum of Archaeology and Ethnography. The museum’s exhibits include artifacts reflecting the life and culture of various eras and peoples who inhabited the region.

5. Lunch: Enjoy lunch at a traditional Azerbaijani restaurant, where you will be offered a tasting of national dishes.

6. Carpet Museum: Visit the Carpet Museum, which houses a rich collection of carpets and textiles, showcasing centuries-old Azerbaijani weaving traditions.

7. National Museum of History of Azerbaijan: Conclude the day with a visit to the National Museum of History of Azerbaijan, located in the mansion of Haji Zeynalabdin Taghiyev. The museum’s extensive collection covers the entire history of Azerbaijan.

8. Drop-off at the Hotel: After the tour, you will be transported back to your hotel.
