Tour Plan

1. Pickup from the Hotel and Transfer: The tour starts with a comfortable transfer from your hotel in Baku. Your guide will introduce the day’s program as you travel towards the Guba region, famous for its diverse landscapes and historical significance.

2. Arrival in Guba: Upon arriving in Guba, a town known for its apple orchards and traditional crafts, you will explore some of its cultural landmarks.
Visit to Guba Mosque: A short visit to the historic Guba Mosque, which is an important symbol of local architecture and history.
Carpet Weaving Workshop: Learn about the intricate process of creating Guba carpets, known for their bold colors and complex patterns, at a local carpet workshop.

3. Qachrash Forest and Lunch: Your journey continues to the tranquil Qachrash Forest, a lush and peaceful area known for its tall trees and serene atmosphere. Here, you will stop for a traditional Azerbaijani lunch at a forest-side restaurant, where you can enjoy local dishes in the heart of nature.

4. Qudyalchay Canyon: After lunch, the tour continues with a visit to the Qudyalchay Canyon, a stunning natural formation featuring steep cliffs and a winding river. The canyon offers excellent photo opportunities and a chance to appreciate the dramatic landscapes of northern Azerbaijan.

5. Drive to Khinalig: Following the exploration of Qachrash and Qudyalchay, you will ascend through the mountains to reach Khinalig, one of the oldest and highest villages in the Caucasus, located at an altitude of 2,300 meters.

6. Arrival in Khinalig: Upon arriving in Khinalig, you will explore this ancient mountain village, which has been continuously inhabited for over 5,000 years.
Walking Tour of Khinalig: Stroll through the village, admiring the traditional stone houses built on the mountain slopes and learning about the unique culture, language, and traditions of its people.
Local Museum: Visit the local museum to discover the fascinating history and way of life of Khinalig’s residents.
